The work for two pianos of two friends-composers was created 'in correspondence'. Vladimir MARTYNOV (Russia) and Georgs PELECIS (Latvia) sent each other letters with scores of the new parts of the work, which developed and added the initial musical idea. They played and recorded it on May 21, 2002 on two excellent Steinway grand pianos at Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow.
